The Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. and the Juan D. Nepomuceno Center for Kapampangan Studies, Holy Angel University started a 150-day countdown towards Rizal's 150th birth anniversary on January 20, 2011. It was named "Rizal 150 to 150" which aims to bring Rizal closer to the Filipino youth using he most accessible medium today, the Facebook. This was conceptualized in Makati on January 19, 2011 and features 150 Rizal's words of wisdom in a "Daily Dose" format, alongside with the 150 Rizal monuments all over the world. It also created a sense of modern bayanihan spirit among the Filipino community in Facebook who contributed their own shots of Rizal monuments and ignited social awareness through Rizal's words of wisdom in a simple way.
Binhi and Kapampangan Center also wanted to transform these words of wisdom and monuments in a countdown-designed plate in a way that our educators can use as instructional materials. Later on, these words of wisdom also used as audio-visual presentation which the Central Luzon Television (CLTV 36) and the Knowledge Channel aired it for free. Most of the so-called "Rizal 150 Teasers" were already uploaded in Facebook and You Tube through the help of the Philippine Historical Association.
